The Land of Sea and Sun

IMG_0244.JPGAntigua is humbly known as “The land of sea and sun” and has a reputation of having 365 beaches! That’s one for every day of the year! I was blessed to visit Antigua Island in the middle of January for an extended weekend [perks of living in the Caribbean]. While I wasn’t there long, I had a great couple days and wanted to share with you what I experienced! (more…)

As of July 20th, Tea N’ Sea is TWO years old!!! I still can’t believe that I decided to embark on this journey 2 whole years ago! With that being said, I have a lot of news to share, both about my life and about the blog!  (more…)

One place that I have found myself visiting pretty often is Tampa, FL. Some of you may know that I lived in Tampa for two years at the beginning of my college career. Tampa has a lot to offer, from pristine beaches, to a bustling nightlife, as well as attractions, and a cruise port! I’m going to share with you some highlights of my two recent visits, as well as some of my favorite spots for you to visit if you make a short trip to the Tampa Bay! (more…)

Some people may think that Walt Disney World is only for little kids and their families. While the parks may seem over-run with hordes of families and strollers, the Magic Kingdom is a super fun place to spend the day [or a few] with your friends! This post is going to focus on Magic Kingdom in particular, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t apply most of these tips to the other parks! Continue reading below to find out some tips and tricks for running around the park and getting the most out of your day!  (more…)

The Gateway to the Smoky Mountains

This is a post that I’ve been meaning to post for a while now, but never actually got around to unfortunately. As of now, I am taking a break from studying and decided to write rather than take a nap. I’m sure most of you have heard of the devastating fires that affected Georgia, South and North Carolina, and Tennessee. Gatlinburg was one of the cities that was horribly affected, and is a city that I have been visiting for years now. It may be far different than some other news that you’ve been seeing; but I wanted to share the enjoyable parts of Gatlinburg to lighten the mood, and to show how beautiful the area was before the fires.  (more…)

Seven Years of Good Luck

screen-shot-2016-12-05-at-8-22-17-pmI’m realizing slowly that I’m falling way behind on keeping up with writing [I’ve got adventures from before what I’m writing about now to cover still…oops]. Writing is one of the ways that I relax and unwind. I have had a few busy weeks, not to mention I’m stuck on island time. I escaped the foothills and went back to the sea for spring break. By far, this has been the best spring break that I’ve ever been on and I wish every second that I could go back. Keep on reading to get a glimpse into what we did for spring break!  (more…)

The Cold Never Bothered Me Anyway…

screen-shot-2016-12-05-at-8-43-06-pmI used a Disney reference for the title of this post, but in all honesty, I have never actually liked the cold. That is…until I got to experience the magic of snow!!! [Truly life changing experience when it comes to my adoration of winter.]  (more…)

Goodbye 2015!

screen-shot-2016-12-05-at-8-43-28-pm2015 was definitely a great year, but as great as it was, I am definitely excited for 2016! I previously wrote about the things that I want to accomplish or places that I want to go in 2016, but wanted to write about my 2015 experiences, since I had so many experiences in 2015 that I never want to forget!  (more…)

New Year, New Adventures

Screen Shot 2016-12-05 at 8.47.15 PM.png

As 2016 comes to a start, I can only hope that it will be the best year yet. It has started strong with the Tigers playing [hopefully winning] in the National Championship game tomorrow! [Monday, January 11th]! Everyone seems to make New Year’s Resolutions that are hard to keep, so that has pushed me away from ever making a true resolution. This year, rather than have a resolution, I have decided to make a 2016 Bucket List!  (more…)
