Some people may think that Walt Disney World is only for little kids and their families. While the parks may seem over-run with hordes of families and strollers, the Magic Kingdom is a super fun place to spend the day [or a few] with your friends! The Gateway to the Smoky Mountains


This is a post that I’ve been meaning to post for a while now, but never actually got around to unfortunately. As of now, I am taking a break from studying and decided to write rather than take a nap. I’m sure most of you have heard of the devastating fires that affected Georgia, South and North Carolina, and Tennessee. Gatlinburg was one of the cities that was horribly affected, and is a city that I have been visiting for years now. It may be far different than some other news that you’ve been seeing; but I wanted to share the enjoyable parts of Gatlinburg to lighten the mood, and to show how beautiful the area was before the fires.  (more…)

I woke up this morning after staying awake until 1:30 AM, anxious to see who our new President of the United States would be; but didn’t realize that looking at my phone this morning would be the most upsetting thing I would do all day. But it’s not for the reason that any of you are thinking.

This time of year tends to be extremely busy for everyone. Freshman are moving into dorms, people are moving into new apartments, houses, or even moving out of state! I just moved into my new apartment and I still feel like I’m not fully unpacked yet. With all of the commotion and craziness that comes with moving, I thought I’d share a few tips for your move to hopefully make it a little simpler.
